FilmShuffle

FilmShuffle is a web app for discovering, rating, ranking, logging, organizing, and discussing films.

FilmShuffle separates two ideas that are often treated as the same:

My Favorite Films

My Favorite Films is your personal, manually ordered ranking. You shape it through film-to-film comparisons and direct reordering. It is about which films you love most and the order in which you place them.

100 Highest Rated

100 Highest Rated is generated from the FilmShuffle ratings you give films. It reflects the scoring system and rating information used by FilmShuffle rather than the manual order of My Favorite Films.

These lists remain distinct. A rating does not automatically reorder My Favorite Films, and manually moving a favorite does not change the rating used for 100 Highest Rated.

FilmShuffle also includes or may include Film Logs, reviews, watchlists, custom lists, Tier lists, Film Clubs, imports, trivia, social features, sharing tools, recommendations, and other ways to engage with film.

FilmShuffle is currently in beta. Features may change as the Service develops.

Founder

FilmShuffle was founded by David Tyler Sheets and is operated by FilmShuffle LLC.

Film data and images

FilmShuffle uses film data and images supplied through TMDB (The Movie Database).

This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

The approved TMDB logo must appear with this credit and must be less prominent than FilmShuffle branding.

Third-party services

Letterboxd and IMDb names and marks belong to their respective owners. FilmShuffle may allow users to import data exported from those services, but FilmShuffle is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Letterboxd or IMDb.

Other film titles, posters, images, names, trademarks, and copyrights belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on FilmShuffle does not imply sponsorship or endorsement.

Independent service

FilmShuffle is an independent film-ranking and community service. Unless explicitly stated, FilmShuffle is not affiliated with a film studio, distributor, exhibitor, streaming service, filmmaker, critic, or awards organization.
