Report a Problem

Use this page for technical issues with FilmShuffle, such as:

  • a broken page or button;
  • an error message;
  • a failed or incorrect Letterboxd or IMDb import;
  • an incorrect display, ranking, or list behavior;
  • missing or incorrect film information;
  • a public sharing link that does not work;
  • a profile image or upload that fails unexpectedly; or
  • another reproducible bug.

Do not use this page to report abusive users or content. Use the in-product report action or Contact/Support. Copyright notices and intimate-image removal requests must use their dedicated processes.

Report form fields

The form should request:

  1. Reply email
  2. Category
    • Broken page or feature
    • Import problem
    • Film data problem
    • Ranking or rating problem
    • Profile or upload problem
    • Sharing problem
    • Accessibility problem
    • Security concern
    • Other technical problem
  3. Subject
  4. What happened?

  8. Optional diagnostics consent

Suggested checkbox copy:

Include basic technical details with this report, such as my browser and version, operating system, screen size, current FilmShuffle page, and FilmShuffle build version. Do not include my browsing history or information from other websites.

The diagnostics checkbox must be off by default. Only collect the listed diagnostics when the user affirmatively selects it. Do not add screenshot attachments during the beta unless the privacy, storage, moderation, and deletion handling for attachments is implemented first.

Security concerns

Do not publicly disclose a suspected security vulnerability. Select Security concern or email contact@filmshuffle.app with the subject “Security Vulnerability.” Do not access data that is not yours, disrupt the Service, or continue testing after confirming a potential issue.

Film information from TMDB

Some film information and images come from TMDB. FilmShuffle may be able to refresh or correct matching and display issues, but some source-data corrections may need to be made through the original data provider.
