Synopsis

In a remote Russian garrison town, three daughters of a military commander are all on their own after having lost both their parents. With empathy and human insight we are led to witness how each of the sisters tries to create new and meaningful lives for themselves. TV adaptation of Chekhov's 1901 stage play.
