Nneka @ Bardentreffen 2025

Synopsis

Neo-soul, Afrobeat, jazz, and hip-hop... Singer Nneka moves seamlessly between all these styles to speak out against abuse and social injustice. Arriving in Germany at the age of 20, the young Nigerian woman first turned to music to overcome homesickness, before making it the center of her life. Whether lyrical or protest-driven, her singing has one constant: power.
