Synopsis

Based on a true story, Dona Carlota leads a women’s soccer team from the suburbs of Rio de Janeiro on an international tour. Her home, which serves as the club’s headquarters and a space of freedom for the young women, challenges the prevailing morality and the dictatorship of the 1940s.
