City of Graves

Synopsis

In the heart of Cebu City, Carreta Cemetery has become more than a resting place for the dead—it is a source of livelihood and home for generations of families. Through the lives of a lapida maker and the people who call the cemetery home, City of Graves explores a community shaped by resilience, tradition, and survival. It is a portrait of how life quietly endures in a place built for the dead.
