  • Documentary

Synopsis

The death of the dictator Francisco Franco on November 20, 1975 changed the course of Spanish history. The Franco dictatorship gave way to the democratic transition. This special documentary for 20N tells the story of the Spain of change through archive images and testimonies of personalities such as Pedro Almodóvar, Cristina Almeida, Carla Antonelli, Maixabel Lasa, Baltasar Garzón or Ada Colau. In addition, it faces a duality still present in Spanish society, embodied in the roles of Emilio Silva, president of the Association for the Recovery of Historical Memory, and Juan Chicharro, president of the Francisco Franco Foundation.
