About The King's Messenger

Synopsis
The 17th century: a rider is dispatched by the king to carry a message to the king's embattled forces in a distant conflict. The messenger is waylaid by a villain, whose mistress lures the messenger into a trap so that he can be stabbed and the message stolen.
